He came to see my show, Pinup Pole Show.  The one I created, produce and play featured cheesecake in.  When another working artist comes to see my show and is inspired, that’s what it’s about.  I get off on bringing inspiration to anyone, really.  If a fellow compassionate becomes vegan-curious after seeing my vegan and vegetarian elite athletes, then that’s it.  If a budding babe sees our strength and confidence and enrolls in pole fitness classes, that’s it!  If a working artist sees our creativity and work ethic and is inspired to create within his own genre – that’s my language.  The language of inspiration is a powerful thing!

Trent Ward (aka: country comedy musician, Scuzz Twittly) saw the show, wrote a song about pole goddesses, recorded it, produced and directed this shoot and edited this video.  Within 3 months of seeing Pinup Pole Show, we’re working together and making mad beautiful, sensual, respectful and downright fun art like this music video.  Good on Scuzz for putting his country perspective up against those nearly as comedic, but far less self-aware and entirely less empowering stripper pole rap and hip hop songs so popular right now.  I don’t know about you, but I feel like this is how pole dance can and should be featured with a track that celebrates us just as well!  To all the pole dancers out there whom love what they do …  Scuzz Twittly’s Workin’ The Pole!
